研究方向:
一、 電磁波遮蔽材料的製備與其性質之研究 
本專題研究室是利用置換法來製備表面金屬化導電性測試片,將較低還原電位的金屬粉末和金屬薄片分散於聚合物中,經熱壓成型後,將此測試片浸漬於較高還原電位的金屬鹽類水溶液中,金屬鹽類溶液中的金屬離子被還原成金屬於測試片表面,因而製得金屬化導電性聚合物測試片並將還原前及還原後的測試片進行電磁波遮蔽效率之比較,並探討金屬粉末含量、金屬薄片含量、金屬薄片展弦比對電磁波干擾遮蔽效應的影響,從中製得具有良好電磁波遮蔽效果的材料。研究發現隨著金屬薄片展旋比的增加,其遮蔽效果也隨之增加。 
二、 奈米高分子複合材料的製備及其性質的研究 
本研究是將奈米級氧化鋁、二氧化矽或二氧化鈦粉粒體加入到聚合物 中,並加入界面活性劑或偶合劑以增加粉體在聚合物的分散性。研究結果發現製得奈米級複合材料能夠提升聚合物的機械性質、熱性質及耐磨耗等 .....。
